I disabled some services using my computer-> manage. I was looking them up online as i went to see whether or not they were necessary, but something I disabled or set to manual definitely needed to be on. I now have no start menu. I navigated back to my computer->manage to turn the services all back to automatic, but unfortunately when i click "properties" to change them no box comes up to change the settings. To make things worse, system restore will not work. What can i do to get back to normal?

EDIT: nevermind, started up the services manually, set them back to auto, and now i have a start menu again...

If you're looking for a good reference for services (and this may be the one you used), Black Viper has always had a good one.
