VB Script add PC to Domain/OU

I’m looking for a script to read a specific part of a computer name, ie “742” from computer name ABC-STE-W742G01. Then based on that join it to a domain and put the computer into a specific OU in AD?

742 is the dept name and we have a lot of them. We are looking to read the computer name then place it in the proper OU. We have more then 1 OU. The domain is the same for all PCs.
