Display Theme totally screwed ?

im not sure what happened but after trying to alt+tab from the new PoP it totally screwed up my theme or something.. the text everywhere is either bold or italics - the icons are big and blurry etc.
i was wondering if theres a way to turn everything back to default regarding the appearance? im using a customized theme aswell (shouldn't make any difference)

basically, all my fonts are bold and weird - also the title bar is smaller, for example minimize, maximize and close buttons are very tightly spaced out etc...
if this helps, i tried managing the Appearance under Display and it helped but for example i see my text as bolt atm that im typing it - once ill post the text will be in italics (instead of normal on both cases) also, items in my start bar are in italics aswell as clock etc - not a single option under Appearance is set as italics so i think i need to look elsewhere? i tried installing the latest nvidia driver and that didn't do a thing.

Also, I tried running PoP again to try and reverse the problem i think the game's screwed or something. i tried loading the autosave and it took a long time so i tried alt+tabbing and guess what - it happened again:

edit: heres a screenie of how everything looks: notice the weird square on the firefox tabs, and the italics in the title bar, and start bar aswell as clock, and the enlarged icons there..

if i can somehow undo all this i'd appreciate it.. extremely annoying different sizes of icons and text etc

Btw, system restore is disabled on my machine so i need other advice please.

Thanks in advance

You have been here long enough to know that we don't permit large inline images. Please don't post them again, use links. Thank you.

You shot yourself in the foot by disabling system restore.

Uninstall the game and uncustomize your theme.

not really - it seems my Lucida Console font was the problem, i deleted it and applied it again.
also, in Appearance i set the Tahoma font to Bold and then back off and it seemed to do the trick.. all we can do now is hope it lasts

Thanks anyhow

I'd re-enable system restore and take a restore point while it's working right!
