XP's not seeing free HDD space
Ran out of room on my XP Pro SP3 machine. Said I only had 2.06 gigs left on my 30gig HDD, so I deleted about 13gigs of stuff but XP isn't seeing it. Tried ScanDisk, Defraging and rebooting and it still shows the original 2.06 gigs of free space. And yes, I emptied the Recycle Bin. How do I fix this? Thanks.

1. Turn off system restore.
2. Download and run CCleaner. 3. Open a command prompt and type: chkdsk /r Follow the prompts to dismount and reboot. Re-enable system restore. Buy a bigger hard drive. |

If you have Norton installed...check the Norton Recycle Bin.
