greedo XP Reformatting question

So when I'm reformatting windows xp on a new computer, when it comes down to choosing which way to format the partition I always choose NTFS instead of NTFS (Quick).

I've tried quick and it is extremely faster, but was just wondering what effect this has your system if you choose (quick)?

Thanks

Send a message via AIM to Panama Red
This gets asked a lot. The Quick method formats the disk without checking the disk for errors while the other option does the error checking.
