Generally PC audio allows one audio input to be active at a time. If your talking about mixing line in audio and microphone audio, probably would need an external audio mixer panel.

ive seen it work in camfrog for some people. but i dont know how to do it.
there is actully a tutorial in youtube about it BUT its for Vista, and the configuration
of audio settings in vista is a bit different so it didnt really help. He didnt use any software,
so i was thinking maybe it can be done on XP without any software installed or hardware bought. thanks.
still hope you guys can help.

Vista uses a completely different way of sound processing than XP. I doubt that it will work.

Just to prove that point that it might work in vista
I installed vista & XP ( dual boot ) well there is nothing under "show disabled options'

i guess if ur hardware doesnt support it then u dunt get it
Im looking for answer to same question.... im thinking about getting a USB headset
which might provide a diff input option so i can select stereo mix in the volume control and mic in the usb headset's input options....
