Can't play a disc

I've got a couple of enhanced CD's. I think you can put the disc in your CD/DVD player and not only listen but watch some video with it. Problem is when I put the disc in my DVD player it says:

Director Player 6.0
This program needs at least 3MB of free virtual memory to run.

Well I don't get it. My swap file is 4000MB. My computer is totally idle. Any clues as to how I can get this to run? I don't want to watch any videos. I just want to listen to the disc.

After the disc in the drive, can you manually open it with wmp or another media player?

Okay I can manually play the disc in Windows Media Player. What I want to do is rip two songs from it and use Nero Wave Editor to increase the volume a bit on the songs.

But I got a problem. After ripping the files turn out to be WMA...Windows Media Audio. It doesn't look like Nero recognizes those types of files.

Are you using wmp to rip?

If so, right click on rip, and choose mp3.

Try CDex. It can rip directly to .wav.
