system restore help
hi I am trying to use system restore to revert back to a previous date but I have gotten stuck. I am using the system restore wizard and at the 'Confirm Restore Point Selection' and when I click 'next' nothing happens. I have tried going back and changing restore dates but I haven't had any success.
Btw, I'm using XP If I'm posting in the wrong section I'm sorry. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

just to make sure you've followed all the steps. If you have there may be a problem with that particular restore point, it may be too far back but if that's not the case and you have several other close points to chose from try one of those.

I originally tried that site out but my problem is that when I click 'next' nothing happens. The step by step wizard does nothing. No error, it is like I'm not clicking anything at all. Maybe a virus is blocking the system restore, is that possible?

You're going to have to tell us why you need to use System Restore in order for us to answer that.
