PC prob

My friends computers is giving her a hard time, I'm pretty sure is a virus.
1- Every time she tries to go to a website, it won't let her, specially if it is a forum where she is looking for help or a website to download and remove or scan for viruses.

2- Can't run it on safe mode, computer will give her a blue screen

3- Can't update, "the page cannot be displayed" or will send her to another website (spyware)

4- Can't open antiviruses.

I downloaded on a cd a few applications such as hijackthis, vundofix.. but nothing, posted the hijackthis scan log on their website to be analyzed but nothing.

Sometimes, but usually it will just tell her that there is no connection or send her somewhere else.

Your best bet is to remove the hdd and slave it to another computer, then scan the hdd with Malwarebytes. You can download the free version here: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

Yes. Just don't connect or turn on the external until after your OS loads.
