PC prob
My friends computers is giving her a hard time, I'm pretty sure is a virus.
1- Every time she tries to go to a website, it won't let her, specially if it is a forum where she is looking for help or a website to download and remove or scan for viruses. 2- Can't run it on safe mode, computer will give her a blue screen 3- Can't update, "the page cannot be displayed" or will send her to another website (spyware) 4- Can't open antiviruses. I downloaded on a cd a few applications such as hijackthis, vundofix.. but nothing, posted the hijackthis scan log on their website to be analyzed but nothing. |

Your best bet is to remove the hdd and slave it to another computer, then scan the hdd with Malwarebytes. You can download the free version here: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

Yes. Just don't connect or turn on the external until after your OS loads.
