reinstalling xp

I am attempting to reinstall windows XP media center 2005. Problem is I have an XP Pro disk. Do I need to get a media center disk to get my key code to be valid or can I install media center with an XP Pro disk?

I would tend to think that if you use the XP PRO disk, then it is only capable of loading the XP PRO version of windows on to the hard drive.
