That message is most often seen when your computer is infected and Admin rights have been disabled. Best to boot to Safe mode and scan with Malwarebytes. Then scan with AVG or your own antivirus. Don't install AVG if you already have an active antivirus.

Pissed Still Need some help

I installed Trend Micros PCcillan, and if found a trogan and some other stuff. I got them deleted, but my problems are worse now.

I keep getting the warning in the bottom left corner of the screen in the task bar, it looks like a microsoft warning telling me i have spyware. It pops up ever 30 sec or so. I've seen this before, and usually I've been able to do system restores to get rid of it. That hasn't worked so far
.
What good are these antivirus/spyware programs anyway? They always seem to have trouble when the real stuff hits the fan.

Anyway, is there something I need to do to get my registry set so I can change it. If I get rid of the virus, is there something I need to do then to allow my registry to be edited?

Thanks

You need to do what I said in my first post. Boot to Safe Mode and install Malwarebytes, update it and run a full scan. Delete everything it finds. THEN run your antivirus. You don't need to mess with the registry. Disinfect it first.
