Win xp
I am trying to troubleshoot a Win xp fresh install and it keep locking and rebooting at "mup.sys" I have searched for solutions and none seem particularly convenient at this time. Does anyone know if xp has the "step-by-step confirmation" boot option like 98 did? I was hoping I could skip it and get into windows and fix the problem from within.
TIA.

If it has SP2 or SP3, use the F8 boot menu to turn off restart on error.

Thanks G but apparently a change in the bios did the trick. The sata hdd were set to Raid. After changing it to IDE no problemo. Thanx again
