Windows Explorer

Hi everyone. I have a problem with Windows Explorer shutting down after I try to burn a cd of a folder. I receive the error message stating that Windows explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.
AppName: exporer.exe
AppVer: 6.0.2900.5512
ModName: shdocvw.d.ll
ModVer: 6.0.29005694
Offset: 0008306c
Is it Windows Explorer that is the problem and Internet explorer 6. I called Dell and they said that I can't copy the favorites folder for it a system folder. I have done it before, so they are wrong. Can anyone please assist me with this problem. All replies will be appreciated.
Thank you. deanie44
