Don't understand error message?
I'm running WinXP Pro SP3. I keep getting this error message and have no idea what it means. Tried finding it on Google and ran anti-virus but no luck. Here's the message:
"Windows cannot find "RECYCLER\S-1-4-32-100021784-100004922-4426.com". Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." Anyone have a clue? Thanks. |

That means there's something in your startup that's looking for something in your recycle bin. You can use msconfig or HijackThis to investigate.

It just occurred to me - you need to check to make sure you don't have the Conficker worm.
