Windows Home Server

Quick question. I just downloaded and installed the trial version of Windows Home Server. But where do I get the client portion to install on PC's I want to backup to the Home Server?

If you downloaded it from MS, it should provide you with the ability to make 3 disks. One is the WHS installation disk - sets up your server. 2nd is the Client disk that you install on each pc you intend to setup for backup with your WHS. 3rd is the Recovery disk that allows you to access the image of your backed up pc on the server and restore it to the pc.

If I'm not mistaken, you can make the other two cd's from within WHS..

If you do not have your Connector CD, you can install the Connector software from the Software shared folder on Windows Home Server.

Thanks. This is what I figured out late last night. By default, WHS makes a "Software" shared folder. I was able to navigate to this folder from the client machine and install the Connector software.
