Removing fonts

How can i tell what fonts i am using. I tried removing a couple of hundred and some programmes were affected when i looked at my favorites. What i did see was a very noticable speed up in the loading of my video programmes. I would like to remove all those which i do not need. Any ideas please?

The DeFrenzy function removes and stores all fonts except those that were present when Windows was first installed.
So if you've added a font and are using - this software looks like it will delete it. Watch out

Thanks for that, i am very confused by this font business because i am not aware of adding any fonts at all. However when i took some fonts out to the recycle bin then went to a couple of my favorite sites they came up but with a lot of detail missing. I restored fonts from recycle bin and all went back to normal. Is there any way i can tell which ones do what?

You have to spend months going to your favorite web sites and figuring out which fonts they use so that you don't delete those fonts

And then there's the fonts that friends and family etc etc use in emails....

You'd really want to be carefull about not deleting any fonts that Windows uses....Could get in a spot where you can't see things in the font windwo to re-install them..
