odd right click window
XPpro, SP3
Lately have noticed that when I right click on a folder or document from my desktop, a large white space is located between the icons and words that describe the icons. When I right click on folder/doc within a folder, I get the normal window. I've done all my usual maintance to no avail. I also am seeing more choices when I right click, such as WinRar items or PowerISO or Ad-Aware, things I don't need to see each time I right click. How would I get rid of these app icons from showing up with a right click. Thanks. |

You need to disable context menu integration in each program.

Thanks GLC,
Didn't really understand your suggestion, but since I had just updated some software, I had an idea where to begin. Not only did I solve the huge white space problem, but I also got rid of a number of other items showing up in the right-click window. |
