Referenced memory issue

Hello there,
Lately, after closing flight simulator 2004,i am getting an error message "the instruction at 0x7c911369 referenced memory at 0x003d2838,the memory could not be read" . The game seems to operate normaly.. There is another issue too. Internet Explorer will sometimes crash and i have to re click on the Explorer to start over again. Ive' done the Google search on this issue and have seen many many forums on this issue with other programs. The possible fixes range from checking and testing memory sticks, Video drivers corrupted,Direct x problems ,possible software that may have been installed, recent windows updates, corrupted registry, spyware issues, etc. I haven't run into any successful results on line so far.. What i have done was to check for spyware;there had been some, ran a registry repair program and fixed the errors, checked the memory and made sure it was secure in the motherboard with the same results.. Any ideas ? Operating system is Windows xp .Appreciate the help .
