System & Program crashes
I am having a problem with my computer that seems to be getting worse over time. I have been getting random system crashes (bsd) and random program crashes. Things I have tried so far:
Updated all drivers (no help) Clean install of Windows with updated drivers (no help in fact it seems worse) Tested system memory with Windows memory test program. Thinking it may be the Video card driver I ran with just generic Windows VGA drivers (no difference). I don't know what to do next. Does anyone know how to stop windows from going straight to a reboot on a BSD? MB - Elitegroup P4VXASD2+ P4 2.4 1 gb Ram Windows Pro All-in-wonder 2006 Thanks in advance |

Run diagnostics on the hard drive. What is the brand and model of the power supply?

I ran WD diagnostics and SpinRite disk test and there were no errors. The power supply is a relativily new
Thermaltake TR2 W0070RUC 430W. Any more ideas? |

Knowing ECS quality and the lack of stability of Via chipsets with Intel processors, the motherboard may be on its way out. Examine it carefully for bulging and leaking capacitors.
