Hold my Hand Win2k3 Server Setup

I'm trying to set up a very basic system for BarNETt computers that will allow us to host an intranet that will hold commonly needed files for clients systems that we repair. Adobe, java, .NET, Service Packs, and other large redistributables under a PHP/MySQL file database. We're also going to build a FAQ system, so the server needs IIS, PHP, and MySQL (I can handle that).

This server needs to be able to be seen without modifications via GP, or ActiveDirectory.

It will also have WSUS to update clients. The clients computers will be edited individually with a .reg that can be downloaded from the server file database, and ran. Then reversed to original with another .reg.

So the server needs DNS/DHCP/IIS. This is the route. It's Bellsouth 6mbit business DSL. It comes from the router to NIC 1 of the system. This NIC will be given a static IP (for eg. sake lets use 192.168.1.1). From NIC 2 of the system, it will go to a 48 port switch, which feeds our 35 workstations (where client computers are placed to be worked on, or new machines built). These machines needs to receive an IP from the DHCP server, and receive DNS, this is where I need help.

A scope of 192.168.2.100-.200 will be fine. I need to set up the DNS server so that we can run our one local website (www.bnc.local, has no external resolution), and all other DNS queries clients make gets put on out to the internet as normal. When I tried this the last time, the DNS would resolve local domains, but not external domains. This is what I have to figure out. What do I need to put where when I set up DHCP so that it looks first to the server to see if it knows the site (our local site), and then if not, goes on out to the internet.

The installation goes DNS, then DHCP, then IIS/PHP/MySQL, then WSUS I believe.

I know I gotta sound like a noob, but thanks for any and all help!
