Create an association
A friend of mine is getting the following message sometimes when there’s an attachment to open.
File does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the folder options control panel. Any suggestions please, Thanks, Mike

There is a good chance he doesn't have any software installed that can open that file type - example, it may be an Adobe PDF and he doesn't have Adobe Reader installed. It might be a Powerpoint presentation, and he doesn't have Powerpoint or Powerpoint Viewer installed. He needs to be more specific.
