restore

in mid January I installed picklens and cooliris then my troubles started my computer started running slower browser crashes (when using cooliris) and my capture card would show an hour long recording to be various different lengths and sometimes play the whole recording sometimes it wont play the whole recording. Iv removed both picklensn and cooliris but the problems remain. so I used the restore and those problems were solved.

when I restore IE wont open I have Mozilla and can reload IE and it will work fine, avg wont update so I tried to remove avg in ad/remove programs it wont remove it and it wont do anything. Avast wont even open.

how can I restore or what do I have to do so my antiviruses and capture card will work

I'm using xp pro
