Windows Xp looping problem
I'm having a problem with Windows Xp, it crashed and now its started constantly restarting itself when it's switched on.
I've tried to carry out a repair install but there is no option to do so when I use my boot disc. I've also tried to do a repair using the recovery console but I'm getting an 'access is denied' error. Is the only way to repair this is to carry out a clean install? and if so will I lose all my files when it formats the hard drive? I really don't want this to happen. |

Some PC info please? Prebuilt PC or home/shop built?
What type of Boot Disc are you attempting to use? Is it a Recovery type disc or a Windows disc? Yes, if you do a reformat all of your previous data will be lost. |
