quick and easy folder password

I want to make some folders password protected, much as I can with Excel docs. Anything out there for this old XP user?

GLC,
I've used a logon password in the past, but it just doesn't fit my needs nor is it convenient in my situation. What I really need is just a way to make certain folders safe from prying-curious eyes of those who use my computer.

Then you will need to fire up a search engine and look for some 3rd party solutions.

Tape,

Why not use windows security to set that you the only one the have the privilege to access it?

Could keep those files on a portable usb flash drive and just keep that on you.

That way no one will be able to access it.

Windows security requires a user account password - this has already been addressed.
