Anyone have a suggestion for quick and easy (low-cost or no-cost) way to migrate the OS and data from one PC to another? My son is assembling a new system but doesn't have his XP Pro discs?

Repair Reinstallation of Windows XP (using XP CD)
Read post #3 carefully. After you do that, shut down, remove the drive from the old computer, then clone it to the new hard drive. LEGALLY the old computer must be removed from service, one install of XP is only legal on one machine at a time. |
