Cannot load locally stored profile
My five year old system has become so unstable that I'm having a new system built. In the mean time, I'm trying to limp along. This morning I boot up and get an alert that WIndows recovered from a serious error. I notice that I cannot get to anything under 'documents and settings' fro my user. I rebooted and got the error message "Cannot load locally stored profile."
Windows uses a temp profile to boot up. Is this really screwed up? Using the search function, files such as my Outlook *.pst are there, just can't get to them. Is this fixable? Thanks in advance. |

Try doing a system restore back to a date when things worked.
