Angry Fire Cannot install Office 2007

Hi Gang

Ya thats right, I cannot get Office 2007 to install at all. I had it once and things got messed up some how so I uninstalled it, now I am trying to install it again, and it will not allow me to. It just says it error-ed out, no explanation, nothing. No error codes, etc. and it errors out at the very same place every time. It downloads it but when it comes to the install of it, that is when it errors out.

I have a legit copy of it, and key. I have even tried the trial version of it, does the same thing. I have gone so far as to do the repair on my version of XP home. I have gone into the registry to delete any left over pieces of it too. I have read that you cannot install any version of Office over another, it simply will not let you. I have installed SP 1, 2, 3, after the repair, and it still will not let me install Office 2007

Any and all suggestions accepted...Thanx...Gunny
