What is it? Can I stop it?
What is this NTFS file name something that keeps popping up on my screen? it's something from Microsoft--i keep checking don't show this again but right in the middle of game, it pops up again and takes me back to desk top and i have to reenter the game and sometimes get killed before i can get back in--mighty aggravating. (file name is NTFLS or something like that -- any ideas?

The thing that pop' up is NT Kernal & System - File Name NTOSRINL..i have tried allowing it and everything. running XP Home Edition..have AMD 3200, AsRock Motherboard, XF 9800GTS video card .. 4 g. ram

You tried to allowing it? are you talking about allowing to access whatever by the firewall software that you're using?
