System Idle process is dominating my computer
So I got my new build up and running today and I installed XP it all went well. Im having a minor problem now installing WOW
Since I dont have the disc I have to download one of the expansions via blizzards website. The installer goes and in says downloading/installing and a progress bar shows and then after a little while it just stops. I noticed that when this happens my system idle process says like 98 next to it, idk if that means anything. It could be a problem with blizz's software DL because their stuff is picky some times so i will go check their site, just curious if anyone has any ideas |

System idle process is what's left after everything else that's actually USING the CPU. 98% means that your CPU is only being 2% utilized.
Have you completely updated XP yet? You need to do that and install drivers for everything before you try to load software. |
