Can't install a game demo
I'm trying to install Battlestations Pacific demo on my machine but can't. Everytime I try to install it the installer says:
The System Administrator has set policies to prevent this installation. I've tried installing as my normal user which is an administrator and I've tried installing as the default built-in XP administrator. Both just fail. Why can't I install this doggone demo? I'm on XP 64 bit. |

It looks like there may be an issue with the game running on XP 64. There are a few references to the matter, but no obvious fixes. You can try asking on the midway game forums: http://www.battlestations.net/en-US/forum

I got it to install by going into Local Security Policy and doing a minor tweak. So it installed but I can't play it cuz when I double-click the icon it complains of a missing component. A missing .dll file.
