HP Code Purple??
What is HP "Code Purple"?
A friend just asked me about this. His computer was acting fine on Saturday, then on Sunday it would not boot up and he got a box telling him some of his Windows files were corrupt. He tried restoring it to the factory settings and got a box telling him there was a confiuration error, said "Code Purple", and call HP Tech Support. HP says they will fix it free if he sends it to them. I told him that might be his best bet. |

Make a mental note of "Code Purple". I haven't seen one yet but I am sure it's only a matter of time.
