boot help

can someone tell me how to make a emergency bood cd for win xp home my floppy does not work i can:t use it so i must do cd i have original xp home cd
i run reg cleaner and it took off windows sys 32 config file i managed to boot in safe mode and get it installed back i guess pewter works fine now but i need an emergency boot cd i had difficulty recognizing cd install disc any ideas would be helpful thanks

What do you need to be able to do? Using the standard install CD you can run a "repair install" which should fix registry/windows configuration problems, but will leave your data intact.
