Need help dell laptop freezes on startup when trying to activate
I have a dell laptop and I upgraded to XP pro from xp home. When I get to the install screen it says this windows must be activated before logon. It says yes or no. If I choose no I can not do anything. When I choose yes it logs in but just freezes and does nothing. If I try to run safe mode I can not due to windows not being activated. The XP I am installing is not the disc that came with the laptop. Anyone know why it is freezing?
