reinstall problem

trying to reinstall win xp on a friends comp i built a few yrs ago. Gets to 34 min left and then a box comes up saying, can't run dll32.exe. what is the fix & how do i go about it? I can build em' but i can't deal with the software!! weak weak weak !!!!

Do you have another copy of Win XP that you can use? Just make sure that if you are installing the Home version that you are using another Home CD/DVD to install with and vice versa with Pro.

You either have a faulty disk, CD drive, hard drive, or ram.

Pissed resolved

It was the HDrive. Tried to download another edition of xp & it got to the same spot of the download & i got the same dll message! pulled the drive, put in a new one & down loaded vista for my friend. Another issue of XP wasted.
