start up problems
After I start up my computer it shows the load up screen then the screen goes black and nothing shows up. I've gotten it to start in safe mode but thats it. What are some options on fixing this problem?

Will it start in VGA mode? If so, adjust your display properties to a resolution and refresh rate supported by your monitor.

It's a selection on the F8 boot screen. It starts it up in 640x480 60 Hz with an otherwise normal startup.
