Stop Error in XT :-(

XP-PRO SP3 Error STOP: 0X0000000A

The system boots and gets as far as the first windows sign on page then goes to the stop error. I've done everything I can think of to restore this system. In the process I have learned that I need to prepare myself more completely for catastrophic failures. I have installed another XT OS on another drive so I have access to the original system files with Restore Counsel but I don't have enough knowledge to do anything much. If I could figure out what driver or service was causing this I could disable it but which?

Question 1: What is the boot order for XP-PRO SP3?

Question 2: How to build a more durable system with XT? It seems that once per year I have some failure of this type. What I need to do is construct a more robust system. I think having a dual boot system on two different drives is a start. I also need to learn about Automated System Recovery (ASR) and System Restore, which I haven't had much luck with in the past. Any other suggestions would be highly appreciated.

TIA: JOHN
