Down-grading software

Hi all. I apologize if this is the wrong sub-forum. I have a dire software problem, though. Recently, my computer automatically updated my version of IE from 7.x to 8.0.

The problem is, I absolutely need IE 7 to access a critical service on the web. I was able to use the computers at my university's library, but due to budget cuts they are now closed!

I was wondering if anyone could help direct me to a download link or another type of resource where I could download, or downgrade, my version of IE explorer! Thank you in advance!

Oh yes, I am running on XP SP3.

If you go to add/remove programs in the control panel, IE8 should be on the list.

After uninstalling IE8, will I then be able to access IE7, or did the installation of one override/delete the other? Thank you very much for the reply, btw!

If IE7 was the latest version before IE8, yes, it will return to IE7.
