-Wake up! Has this dream stopped?The snake was pale gold Glazed and shrunken
And she was beside me Ooh, she's not young Her dark red hair, her white soft skin
Now, run to the mirror in the bathroom, look She's coming in here I can't live through each slow century of her moving
The smooth hissing snakes of rain...

I think instead of messing around with that, I'd install SP3. Note that this article is 2 years old.

http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=210769

what i mean by soon is after a year or a year and a half which is a lot by ure western
standard .. i mean with the way its moving i should be able to save about 250 $ by then
and get my self a good single gpu to keep my system performance in good shape .

its only the ram issue that is holding me now .. i want to go windows 7 ultimate
but i dunno if i should wait until i get 4 gb of ram or not my xp pro sp2 is already
using 400 mb of pf

i see here windows 7 is using less

http://windows-server-training.com/w...-requirements/

also i want to befit from dx10 and i feel xp is quite out dated

should i go windows 7 with 2 gb of ram ? or wait until i solve my ram issue ?

Windows 7 runs pretty well with 2gb, but more will always be better. That much pagefile usage is nothing.

The main resource difference between Ultimate and the other version of Win 7 is the number of dollars it extracts from the customer.
