Where may I download XP service pack3 installation disk?
Hi folks, I remember that awhile ago windows website told users such as myself to download an image or file of Windows XP with Service Pack 2 incorporated into it. Of course it wont work without genuine cd key, but if you need the disk itself you could get it from their website.
Now I want to reinstall windows on an old computer that got some bugs on it, and it tells me that the version of windows that is on it is newer and therefore reinstallation is not possible. I didn't even know such thing was possible. Anyway, I guess now I need the install disk with service pack 3 on it. I dont want to download it from torrents site because they may be modified or buggy, but I need a legit Microsoft download. Is it available?

You could just make a slipstreamed installation disc. Download XP Service Pack 3 here. Then download and install the program nLite.
Using your existing XP installation disc, you can then follow the nLite guides and make a new XP SP3 installation disc.
