XP install Problem
I'm trying to do a clean install of Windows Xp, b ecause my PC got overran with viruses. So I did the normal things you do, changed the boot odrder in the BIOS. so i got the thing that says click any key to boot from cd so i did,. it checked my system hardware. and then it goes to a blue screen with WINDOWS SETUP on the top right. It pretty much freezes there, and there is not sound or light coming from the ROM drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like maybe a problem reading from the CD, or reading the hard drive.
Try using another CD-ROM drive if possible, or another hard drive just to see if you get any further. |

Does it look like the image on this page? BlackViper's XP Install Guide
If so, it's possible that the files are just taking some time setup. How long are you waiting for it to continue?
