local user account profile
Everytime a domain user logs on a workstation it creates a new local profile in the documents and settings folder. When they log off and I log in under an admin account the directory is no longer there. I'm guessing it's probably something I set in the group policy, but I was hoping that someone could tell me where to look before I go changing a bunch of settings.
I need that directory to save, as there are proxy settings that must be setup for the user to have internet access, and I dont want to have to always be setting that up for them. |

As far as I was aware, local profiles don't get *deleted* on their own or with group policy. However, it looks like there is an option for roaming profiles: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/274152
Also, remember what I said about default profiles in another thread? You can specify the settings and retain them with that.
