Fast user switching XP Pro
Hello again.
My fast user switching doesn't work. I can use Windows key + L and/or start/log off/switch users. Both take me back to the Welcome screen. But when I click on another user name, it acts like it's going to log on, but loops back to the Windows screen. The only way it will switch users is if the current user completely logs off. Any help would be appreciated. |

Is your "fast user switching capability" enabled in your services?

It is. When I reloaded XP earlier this month from a slipstreamed SP2 disk, it had some files it said it couldn't find, and I continued anyway. I had other problems, and just reloaded Windows with a new slipstreamed SP3 cd I made. All is well.
FYI.. it was disabled in services, with no optioned available to enable it because I was missing terminal services. Even after downloading a registry hive to fix that, it still wouldn't work. |
