Remove Hard Drive to Repair XP in other PC

XP failed to boot. Not even BOS. Constant restart in Bios right when xp screen should appear. Would not even boot in Safe mode Or in Winternals disc. I needed data desperately for work so I removed the hard drive with the bad XP and installed in other working PC with XP operating system. The data and disc seem fine. Is there a way to repair or restore XP on this drive from the current PC I am using?

No, it has to be repaired in place. A XP repair install will not delete data files, but you should back up everything you need first.

You probably want to check on if the system has hardware problems. That does not sound to me like a Windows problem.
You also would want to back up the hard drive. Or at least important directories. When attached to the other PC. Better safe than sorry. Speaking from experience of not following that advice.

My daughter did something to my wifes computer that caused the same problem. A repair install did the trick and fixed the problem.
