hi
i was cleaning up my files on local disc (C)
when i saw the boot.ini file i moved it on windows folder then when i restart my pc it doesn't start and says invalid boot.ini file booting from c:\windows\ how to fix it? |

It's not generally advisable to move files marked as hidden and/or system files around in the root directory.
Boot from a windows CD, let it load, and when you're presented with a selection menu, select the recovery console option Then, follow the instructions here to rebuild the boot.ini file: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixthe...airbootini.htm
