Gaining Admin Access

I bought an old HP desktop from a thrift shop recently. It's a Pavillion a250n. I intended to use it for parts but it happens to be a complete machine with a 250gig HD, 1 gig RAM, AGP, Hyperthreading, and XP Pro on it. I'd like to keep it together as a complete computer but the admin account is password protected. However I can get into the other accounts. Whatever is on the admin acct is none of my business and Im not after it, I just want to clean it up for my own use. I have the CD key on the side but no disc. What are my options? I'd like to retain the original OS and its license if possible.

Unfortunately, we can't discuss how to hack the admin account in these forums. Private message sent.
