The thing is, I have a Microsoft X6 keyboard. And as some of you might know there are 30 macro keys on the keyboard.
To use these you have to install Microsoft Keyboard. So I installed the program and created some macros (to open steam, CS:Source and CoD:MW2). EVERY time I use these macros Windows explorer crashes and as soon as I close the error report screen, Dr. Mortem debugger also crashes. I have googled dr mortem debugger and have found out that it is pretty useless seeing that there is also a windows report function. I then have to force close both of these processes (that don't close on them selves for some weird reason) and restart explorer.exe . This NEVER happened before I installed the program for the keyboard and it ONLY happens when I use a macro. I tried re-installing the program, but that did not help. I really want to be able to use these macros without it crashing my system every time, so could someone please help me with this? What should I do? I have read that it is possible to go into the registry and manually disable Dr. Mortem debugger, but is this necessary? Some extra info about the computer; Windows XP pro. 32 bit. Version 2002, service pack 3 Intel core 2 Duo CPU T7700 @ 2.40 Ghz 3 GB ram |

I'm thinking you mean "Dr Watson Post Mortem debugger". Regardless, I'd suggest contacting MS support for the keyboard. They should be able to id the problem with their software.
