Trying to install an updated printer driver

I'm running XP Pro SP3. XP installed a printer driver automatically when I installed it. Since then, a newer driver has come out but it's just a collection of files and doesn't have a start file. How would I install this thing? Thanks.

Are the current drivers Not working properly?

Newer doesn't always mean better...Newer can also mean no more workee.

But- Control Panel->Printers->Your printer Properties->Advanced tab->Click the new drivers button and drill down to where the files are.
