1.8GB instead of 80GB in XP?

I just reformatted and re-installed XP onto my old Asus Pro60 notebook. Unfortunately it is only showing an HDD size of 1.85GB, not the full 80GB. If I go into computer management, it recognizes the full size HDD. It's a long time since I installed XP and have a vague idea of something similar happening before, but can't for the life of me remember what it was. Anyone shed any light?
Cheers

Reinstall XP again, but this time remove all partitions in Setup, then create a new partition using 100% of the drive space.
