Installing windows on laptop

hi,
Is it possible to make a clean install of Windows XP on a laptop having Windows Vista? (This includes formating and installing drivers)

My laptop is Toshiba- Satellite L305-S5885.
-Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T5750
-Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100
-3GB PC5300 DDR2 667MHz SDRAM
-250GB HDD (5400rpm)
-DVD-SuperMulti (+/-R double layer) with Labelflash™ drive

thanks for your help

Yes. Very much so. As long as you have the correct drivers for your laptop to install after formatting and installing Windows XP.

No, you are going to have to go to the Toshiba site and see if they offer XP drivers for that model laptop. Your recovery media will only reinstall Vista.

The site to find drivers for Toshiba products is listed below. Simply click on "Downloads" and enter the information for your laptop. There are drivers for WinXP.
