This is a nightmare!
I think I have the Sasser worm. I keep getting the error:
"the system process C:windows system32 lsass.exe terminated w/ status code 128...system will restart, save..." I can't even do anything! I have no control of the desktop and can't boot into safe mode. What can I do? The desktop sometimes comes up, but locks up.

Remove the drive, connect it to another computer with a USB adapter, and scan it with anti-malware software.

You connect the infected internal drive to another computer that is already running and has antivirus/antispyware running, using a cable similar to this one.
http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?inv...20-OTB&cat=HDD Then select the drive that's infected to scan. Malwarebytes allows you to select which drive to scan and is quite good at catching malware.
